George Mitchelle Preserve

The George Mitchell Preserve is a piece of the Montgomery County Spring Creek Greenway, which is now in the planning stages and will eventually connect up to 12,000 acres of forested land that are located north of Houston along Spring Creek. The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park and the new Texas Tree Ventures, an outdoor aerial adventure course, are both located close to the Flintridge Drive trailhead, which provides access to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve.

At The George Mitchell Nature Preserve, you can go on an exciting journey through the great outdoors! This 1,800-acre preserve is connected to the adjacent forest that is known as the Spring Creek Greenway and features miles of trails for hiking and biking as well as opportunities to view native plants and animals. The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park and Texas Tree Ventures, an outdoor aerial adventure course, are both located in close proximity to the Flintridge Drive Trailhead, which provides access to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve.

Creekside Village is home to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, which is a piece of the Montgomery County Spring Creek Greenway.
